Fourth of July Cake

Today while looking around for 4th of July ideas on the web I came across this awesome cake idea on www.secretofachefswife.com. Apparently she got the idea from a nineteen year old in Boston who’s been running a great baking blog since she was… well, seventeen. I may not be the best baker in the world, but I can sure eat and the 4th of July always has it’s share of interesting red white and blue deserts, but this one takes the…. prize (you thought you knew where I was going there didn’t you?). With some baking trickery, you can impress your friends and family for sure. Please go check out secretlifeofachefswife.com or the original article at 17andbaking.com to find out how it’s done. Whether you’re in Orange County and get a bounce house rental from us or not, if you do decide to bake this cake, feel free to bring some over to the Orange County Jumpers warehouse for me and the guys. We’ll know what to do with it.
